My Journey
I first came to acupuncture as a patient. In my twenties, I had a serious fall that left me unable to walk. I tried other treatments, but nothing helped, until I saw an acupuncturist. The pain eased, the healing began, and I slowly got back on my feet. That experience changed the course of my life.
It sparked a deep curiosity in me. I wanted to understand how acupuncture worked, and how it could help others like it helped me. I went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine in Australia, then later trained in Japan with teachers in Toyohari and the work of Dr Yoshi Manaka — methods that rely on a very gentle, tactile approach.
These days, my practice focuses on auricular electroacupuncture. It’s a modern method that treats the whole system through the ear, using very few needles and subtle electrical stimulation. It’s precise, calming, and deeply effective.
“My goal isn’t to override the body — it’s to support what it already knows how to do.”
That’s how I approach each treatment. Quietly, carefully, and with full attention to what’s really going on.
